IMS Hires Terry Rowinski as Chief Operating Officer; Announces Retirement of Chief Logistics Officer Jeff Fuerst
Rowinski brings nearly three decades of experience of operational, technical, and fiscal management to IMS, most recently as the President and COO of PayMedix, a healthcare payment technology solution based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
“Terry brings a high level of experience enabling businesses to succeed in challenging environments. He understands our culture of creating partnerships with our clients to help them thrive. His focus will be on modernizing what we do and how we do it through technical, business, and process improvements while driving forward and strengthening the core elements that make IMS unique,” said IMS CEO Josh Tobey.
Rowinski said he is thrilled to work with “the people who have made IMS a true legacy brand.”
“The many reasons clients come to us is because of our people who continue to show they are always, first and foremost, working in their best interest,” he said. “They are the ones who built a resilient process that has made IMS, not just a trusted outsourced partner to our clients, but an extension of their teams. I look forward to joining that mission in evolving the best practices of our industry and helping move them forward together.”
Rowinski has also worked in executive roles at Health Payment Systems, BuySeasons, DHL, and Kohl’s Department Stores. He lives in southeast Wisconsin with his wife and near his four children and two grandchildren.
IMS also announces the retirement of Chief Logistics Officer Jeff Fuerst who joined IMS in January 2015. Jeff built a 30-year career through executive logistics roles at Quaker Oats, PepsiCo, ConAgra Foods, and Sears Holdings prior to joining IMS.
“We congratulate Jeff on his next chapter in life and thank him for the dedication he delivered at IMS,” said Tobey. “He leaves IMS in a better place because of his knowledge, ingenuity, and passion for our people and our solutions.”
